SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES … DAILY

 

“Every word of God is pure” Proverbs 30:5.

It is only in God’s Word where all truth is.

 

Search God’s Holy Word - The King James Version. Have the "nobility" and "readiness"of the Bereans: “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily,

whether those things were so.” Acts 17:11.

Search the scriptures whether it be so.

 

". . . Let God be true, but EVERY man a liar . . . "

 Romans 3:4. This then tells us how to study material

 in the light of the word of God…...

 

Claim Luke 11:11-13 for the presence of the Holy Spirit and for clear direction from God.

 

Study with an open Bible and an open mind.

Be “Bible and Bible only” people.

 

Go to the Word of God, and test spiritual gifts from it.

Don’t test it the other way around by testing the Word of God

from man’s teachings: “Quench not the Spirit …

Prove all things …” (1Thessalonians 5:19-21).

The Holy Spirit is

“the Spirit of truth”

(John 15:26) …

“he shall teach you

all things”

(John 14:26) …

“he will guide you

into all truth”

(John 16:13).

“The holy scriptures are able to make thee wise unto salvation … ” (2 Timothy 3:15)

Daily read the Bible

All of the Bible is God’s word and is inspired by Him.

Put in place the principle of Bible study that lets the New Testament interpret the Old, not the other way around. They are both inspired, but there needs to be greater emphasis on the New Testament.
