Here Come the Peptides formed in Adelaide, South Australia in the middle of 2007. Andrew Hall is the creative force behind the band having written all of the original songs. He has been performing many of these songs solo at various Open Mic nights in Adelaide. Dave Ingleton joined Andrew playing bass and just jamming with the songs to get a good foundation before they began auditioning for drummers. They found Tom O'Leary who took up the drums for a couple of early gigs at the Old Queens Arms and the three of them went into a friends recording studio to record three tracks for a Demo tape.
Shortly after recording this demo Tom was called interstate with work commitments and had to leave the band. The drum auditioning process began again and Chris Clarke was found as a very capable replacement. The current line up has been jamming for several months now and is looking forward to hitting the Adelaide band scene with avengence. Chris played several gigs with us and most of these went down really well, the most memorable being at the Jade Monkey where we were joined on stage by the guitarist from Kiss Montana.
The saga continues as of 06/07/2008, Chris has decided to take up a very attractive
opportunity to move to Darwin and play music in a band with his brother. Nice work if you can get it.
As a result we are currently back in the auditioning process for a new drummer. Any interested drummers
please contact Andrew Hall on 0405 766 056.
