HISTORY
15th Essendon Sea Scouts were formed by senior Scouts (now ventures) from 5th Essendon who wished to participate in more water activities. The group was officially registered in on the 1st of June 1956.
The Group built and met in a Nissen Hut in Fairbairn Park next to the 5th Essendon Hall. A larger hall was added in 1973. The Nissian Hut is now used for boat storage.
