HISTORY
On the 14th of Febuary 1951, 1st Essendon started a Wolf Cub Pack, which later became known as 1st Strathmore. The founding of the other 4 Strathmore groups followed shorthy afterward.
On the 1st July 1959 5st Strathmore along with the other 4 Strathmore groups (1st, 2nd, 3rd and4th Strathmore) became official members of the Essendon (now Moonee Valley) District.
