Hello to all our members and welcome to our new ones! Well the Season is well under way with some of our teams being re graded by SUNA. Hopefully these choices will be beneficial to our teams.

FEES are well and truly OVERDUE….If you have not paid or arranged a regular payment plan with the Treasurer you may be benched. “NO PAY NO PLAY” Its not fair to your team mates, they have paid, and you may be benched ‘cos you’re not financial. SUNA will be informed of ALL unfinancial players. Payment plans MUST have weekly payments made.

In the last edition of Just to let you know, we had a medical form attached, please ensure that you have returned this to your co-ordinator.

COURT LIGHTS

Hopefully, you would have noticed the new court lights. It was unknown how long it would take to install them, or if our practices would be disrupted, but it was not an issue at all, and they make a huge difference.

FUNDRAISING

We will, once again have a chocolate drive. Selling Cadbury chocolates for $1.00 each. This is a great fundraiser for the club, and we ask that each family sell at least one box of chocolates.

Also, in October (date to be decided) we are looking at holding a Quiz Night. If you happen to know anyone who has, or runs a business, maybe you could ask for a donation to go towards the Quiz Night. All donations will be acknowledged, both in the newsletters and on the night.

We still have some ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS for sale $60.00. These are packed with great value and huge savings with 2 for 1 and discount coupons.

Don’t forget we have club scarves for sale at $15.00 each. Great for those cold nights at matches.

CLUB EVENT

Some of the committee are looking into the entire club going to ETSA Park to see Thunderbirds V Sydney Swifts match on Friday 14th July. This is the 1st Friday of the school holidays, so the 11&U won’t be playing. The cost will be…. $14.00 Adults and Children 5-15yrs $6.00.(plus a booking fee) We may get a group discount. This outing will be open to all players, siblings and families and friends. Please return form attached if you are interested in coming along. It is very important we get a definite idea of numbers to enable the best price.

CLUB JACKETS

I seem to have been asked by many players about getting club jackets. I have size samples in the clubrooms, along with a list of who would be interested in purchasing one. The approx price is $85 & $95.The list is only an interest NOT an order. Please make a point of at least trying one for the size, so at least you have an idea for later on, if we put an order in. I think this company may be too expensive and I might have to look at another supplier. This will all take time, maybe a club member would like to check out other suppliers.

AGM

We will be holding our Annual General Meeting on Thursday 15th June, at 8.00pm. Please mark the date in your diaries and come along. There is a flyer attached along with a nomination slip. Nomination can be placed in the box provided in the clubrooms.

SELECTIONS — FOR SUMMER 05/06

We will be holding selection for summer in late July, (dates to be decided). We hear many comments about the way selection are run and how teams are chosen. If you feel that you would like to part of the team selections, please let me know. We would also like to hear from you, if you are interested, or know of someone who may like to coach, or umpire. (Club will pay for coaching and umpire courses)
