Pictures

Here's are the photos so far.

These are big pictures, so this page might be slow to load!

The entire display is programmable, so it can be sequenced to pre-defined patterns.

A 30mm Green Cold Cathode Neon is inside the letterbox to provide some highlight for Santa in the garden...

A Christmas tree with 8 circits of 150 lights in a "A" up/down formation, for a total of 1200 Lights. Of course this tree can then be animated to do patterns!

The "Merry Christmas" sign was made from a string of clear fairy lights that have been cable tied one-by-one to roll of plastic gutter guard.
(Gutter guard is the stuff you put over roof gutters to stop leaves from entering)

And the heart of the display is the computer control...
This is still work in progress - the wooden board containing the tranformers will be decommissioned soon. I much prefer my new frame mounting layout, as it's much easier to work with.

More photos to come shortly once I finish off the display!

There is more electronics pictures on the Controller page.
