20th, 21st of November
4th, 5th of December
Entry
No entry fee, every pilot who enters will receive the latest Mid North Map,
a pen, a Waypoint List and a Pilot Registration & Waiver Form.
All competitors must be a member of HGFA and must have a servicable parachute.
Open Class
Two dimensional GPS required, no trophies or prize money, the Blue Max for first place.
Floater Class
Open to all pilots who have never owned a higher performance glider.
There will be no trophies, but $200.00 for First, $100.00 for Second & $50.00 for third place.
To be eligible for the prize money, floater pilots will have to fly in every round called, provided it is safe to do so,
as deemed by the Safety Commitee.
The goal will most likely be shorter than the open class and will be more or less downwind with no turnpoints and no GPS
will be required, however landing co-ordinates will be required to assist Dave with the scoring.
Just ask your retrieve driver or another pilot to mark them on a GPS when you get picked up.
In the event that more than one floater makes goal please record your landing time to the nearest nano second
(that's what the pen is for). there will be no launch times required, it's a race to goal.
Paragliders
Paragliders can enter either class.
Scoring
Garry's excel score sheet
from last year will be used for scoring.
Task time will start the 'last' time you leave the 5km start circle.
Your final score will be your best 6 results.
Goal will be a virtual goal with
a 400m radius, finish time being when your track enters the 400m
circle, arrive at any altitude you like and land wherever you want
after finishing.

General information
Details of where we will be flying will be posted
on google groups on the Friday evening before the weekend. If you dont
have access you can call anyone who is flying.
Make sure someone is going to make sure you are safe
at the end of the day before you take off.
Remember it can be hot and there are no amenities on
launch, or wherever you land. Take plenty of water, sunblock, a hat,
toilet paper, and whatever else you will need between leaving home and
getting picked up.
Most pilots camp at the Snowtown "Pines Resort" for Saturday
night, which is camping behind the Snowtown Community Club.
The Community Club does meals on Saturdays.
