Who we are.....

The Eden Hills brigade of the South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS) is one of the five brigades in the Sturt CFS Group, and our station is located at Northcote Road, Eden Hills, in the state of South Australia, Australia.

We are a group of volunteer fire-fighters responding to emergencies such as fires (including bush, grass, structures), rescue incidents (including vehicles and animals), dangerous substance spillages, storm and flood control and many other varied incidents.

Our members are people (both men and women) aged between 16 and 65 years of age from all walks of life including trades-people, students, engineers, school principles, office workers and full-time mothers! We are a varied and diverse bunch of people who live in the locality and all have one thing in common - the desire to help people faced with emergencies.

There is no charge to people for our services in emergencies and we are a totally voluntary brigade - none of our members receive remuneration for our work for the brigade, we do it because we care.
