PID (Photo Ionising Device).....

In our role as a specialised HAZMAT (Hazardous Material or Dangerous Substance) brigade we carry an array of extra equipment to assist us to deal with any type of substance - whether solid, liquid or gaseous - which is toxic, corrosive, flammable or otherwise dangerous.

The PID - or Photo Ionising Device - gives us very accurate information about the air quality.

It measures VOCs (PID), H2S, CO, O2, SO2, PH3, NH3,NO2, HCN, Cl2, ClO2, O3, and Combustibles.

'PID (Photo Ionising Device)'

It has four alarm levels :

Instantaneous Low and High Alarm for all gases
TWA (Time-weighted average)
STEL (Short-Term Exposure Limit) for VOCs and toxic gases
