Oxygen Therapy ('Oxyviva').....
On our 'Eden Pumper' Fire Appliance we have an oxygen resuscitation kit which can be used by our members who are specially trained in 'Advanced Resuscitation'.
This is most useful for casualties of vehicle accidents, fires, HAZMAT (Dangerous Substance) incidents, smoke inhalation, first-aid situations as well as being on hand for use on our own members when we are in areas that are inaccessible to ambulance personnel, particularly for smoke inhalation.
'Oxyviva' Oxygen Therapy Kit480 litres of oxygen in the cylinder, dedicated 8 lpm therapy line and dedicated 14 lpm resuscitation line as well as variable flow-rate line for multiple uses enabling us to run up to three separate lines simultaneously. We carry various masks, canulas and airways.
