Rescue.....
Our selection of road crash rescue photographs are carefully chosen to avoid graphic and distressing images which may disturb or upset families and friends of people deceased in the accident. We do not wish to add further distress to those who have been unfortunate enough to to suffer through these tragic events.
Rescues, including vehicle accidents, animal rescues, entrapped children and adults as well as search & rescues can be the most distressing or most rewarding type of emergency incidents. Making things harder, being a community service we often know the people involved in incidents within our local area - but fortunately we are located very close to Flinders Medical Centre with its Emergency Department so we often have expert medical retrieval teams to assist us when needed.

Truck carrying LPG cylinders Jackson Ave, Coromandel Valley 14th June 1989
This truck was carrying LPG cylinders when it collided with another vehicle, luckily none of the cylinders were ruptured in the accident and we were able to remove them to a safe distance to enable the extrication of the injured driver.

Child stuck in household drain Belair 29th December 1988
Our crew freed this child's foot from a backyard drain. The child received no injuries.
