Storm Damage.....

Roof fixing
Powerlines down

We are often called out to help with storm damage. Houses losing their roof, trees across roads, trees fallen on to houses or cars, powerlines down and flooding are among the types of incidents we deal with. There are added complications such as traffic hazards, dangers to the public and injuries all of which have to be dealt with in often extremely hard weather conditions.

Tree on Car

This car sustained moderate damage when this tree fell on it, our crews used a chainsaw to remove the large branch.

Tree on House

The weight and force of a tree falling can cause major structural damage to a house. We remove the tree and secure the building and its roof to prevent further danger and weatherproof the building until repairs can be made.

Roof fixing 30th August 1995

If we can at least keep a damaged roof secure to prevent further injuries or stop rain entering the house we can hopefully limit the damage done and keep the house safe for occupation until insurance assessment and repairs can be made.

Powerlines Down

A seemingly straight forward fallen tree becomes a deadly hazard when it brings electricity cables down. These cables were 'live' and created a dangerous environment not only to touch the cables but also the metal fence, tree and even the surrounding wet ground. A hidden danger to unwary people.
