Lake Mungo and about the beginings of modern man?
This was a 15 day trip from Newcastle to Lake Mungo in western NSW, then the Coorong at the mouth of the Murray River in SA.
The trip from
Mildura to the Coorong followed the Murray River by road as much as
easily possible. Google Earth showed the Murray Darling system topped
up with water, in the swamps and billabongs along the way.
