Tevion TDR250HD

According to Pebble Electronics (http://www.pebble-ltd.com.au/profile.php), the TDR250HD could be the 250GB version of the Conia MR1601HD:

The MR1601HD front panel appears similar in button and connector layout but differs cosmetically. The dual vents in the top cover are the same.

This appears to be a 250GB version of the Conia MR1601HD:

Dick Smith Electronics have a Hicon HDR2500 (DSE cat# G2066) that looks similar.

The region free procedure is also identical.

1. Ensure no DVD is in the tray
2. Enter 0086000 (the final digit selects the region code, 0=multizone)
3. Press Enter

You should now see a black rectangular box with a "0" at the top LH corner.

The Tevion TDR250HD uses the same file system as the Salora.

Installing a new hard disc into the Tevion results in a delay during which the HD is automatically formatted. It is then ready for use. I have installed a 320GB Seagate HDD without problems. The Salora will accept a 500GB HDD.
