Congdon / Truscott Genealogy

William Truscott & his wife Elizabeth (Mellow), their first child William, and Thomas Richard Best & his wife Sabina Birch (Trethewey) all travelled together aboard the 'Appleton' from Plymouth on 22 October 1856 and arrived in Melbourne on 25 January 1857.
Thomas and Sabina only intended to come out for their honeymoon, but never went back.

William & Elizabeth's first child William, went on to mary Thomas & Sabina Best's first daughter, Mary Jane.
