John & Sarah Sheppard emigrated to America in 1791.

Geogre Albert Sheppard settled in Calcutta in 1811.
Geogre Albert Sheppard was a general trader.
Ann Byrne was a daughter of Colonel Vivian Byrne.
Ann died in Calcutta in 1822, aged 28, and was interred in the Park Sreet Cemetery.
George Albert Sheppard proceeded to England in 1821 on the Honourable East India Company's ship "Marquis of Hastings", taking his four children with him (Eliza, Charlotte, George & William).
He placed the children in the care of his maien Aunts, Mary & Elizabeth Sheppard, daughters of John of Colesbourne, residing in Coxwell Street, Cirencester in the County of Gloucestershire.

Geogre Albert Sheppard remaried in 1824 to Ellen Shearman, in London.
Ellen Shearman was a / the daughter of Doctor William Shearman MD, FRCP, founder & Governer of Charing Cross Hospital

Mark Jones was Chief Engineer of the Honourable East India Company's dockyard, Calcutta.

Charlotte Sheppard & Rev Robert Cole had three sons, one had died by 1885.
Rev Robert Cole was Military Chaplain at Donne Sterling, Scotland.

Georgiana Sheppard & Captain L Christiansen resided in England with her two sons.

George Sheppard was lost on the steamer "Thunder"at the Sandheads, during the cyclone of 1871, when all on board perished.
