Congdon / Truscott Genealogy |
Sabina Birch Trethewey was mostly reared by her Uncle & Aunt as they had no children. They had a big farm & were wealthy people, but had no children of their own.
She was sent to all the best schools in Cornwell to be educated.
As she married Thomas Richard Best who had little money, & wanted to come to Australia with Elizabeth Mellow (who had married William Truscott), her Aunt & Uncle were angry.
The first windmill erected in Cornwell was on Sabina's Uncle's farm.
