Christian worship and witness by the Presbyterian denomination has been a part of this region for 150 years. Yet the region has also become a home to many who have moved here in more recent times.
Many within our congregation that have links of family history that stretch back over generations. Others have moved here from various regions within Australia and from around the world. We are drawn together by the love of Jesus and by appreciation for the centrality of the Bible, the simplicity and reverence of worship and the desire for holy living which are central to the Presbyterian expression of the Christian faith.
Families, singles, grandparents, parents and children all worship and fellowship together.
As a community of Christians we seek to grow God's family in two ways.
Firstly, we desire to see God's family grow in size. We believe this growth will be achieved, in dependence upon the Holy Spirit, by reaching out with the message of God's saving love through Jesus. We spread this message personally in our local community and by supporting those who work in other regions and countries.
Secondly, we desire to see God's family grow in maturity and wisdom. We seek to achieve this by studying the teaching of the Bible together and by mutually encouraging each other in our walk with the Lord Jesus.
