Where Champions are not just Champions.

Our Shorthairs are known for their good sound movement with many overseas specialists and All Breeds Judges commenting on the quality of our dogs.  We pride ourselves in keeping some of the top working lines in our top show dogs and whilst we no longer work our dogs, we sell many to rough shooters and obedience homes, many of whom come back to us for their second and third Shorthairs. 

On top for over 30 years in South Australia, Heiderst dogs have won Challenges, Best of Breed, Royal CC's and Best In Group in All States of Australia. To date Heiderst have produced 122 Champions (12 of these are Grand Champions) as well as numerous Obedience, Agility and Retrieving title holders.

Heiderst Kennels would like to congratulate the owners of Heiderst Dogs in NSW, Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland , South Australia, ACT, Tasmania and the Northern Territory, for their accomplishments in the year 2007.

As well as having bred GSPs and Vizslas, Heiderst Kennels have owned and shown a Pointer and a GWP, as well as being involved in showing Weimaraners.

Both Raylene & Liat are licensed to judge Group 3 and have judged Championship Shows in SA.
Both are now trainee judges for Group 4.
