Where Champions are not just Champions.

Our Shorthairs are known for their true and sound movement, with Specialists & All Breed Judges from all over the WORLD commenting on the quality of our dogs.

We no longer work our dogs, but keep the working lines in our breeding.  We sell many to rough shooters and to obedience homes - many of them coming back for their second and third shorthair over the years.
The majority of our pups are sold as companions, so temperament and soundness is most important.

We would like to congratulate and thank the owners who have campaigned our dogs in the show ring all over AUSTRALIA, making up many Champions and Grand Champions for us.  Also to the owners who have made up titles in Obedience, Agility, Jumping and Tracking.
We have Champions in Malaysia, Singapore, India, Brazil & New Zealand along with dogs used for hunting in South Korea & Brazil.

The Heiderst prefix has produced 136 Champion Titles to date along with another 19 Champion Titles with other dogs we have owned, 3 of these being Grand Champions.

We have bred 13 Grand Champions with the Heiderst prefix - 12 GSP's & 1 Vizsla - a record for a German Shorthaired Pointer kennel.

As well as having bred GSP's & Vizslas, we have owned and shown a Pointer and a German Wirehaired Pointer with a lot of success and have been involved in showing Weimaraners.

Our kennel has imported dogs from the UK and the USA as well as importing semen from overseas.

Both Raylene & Liat are licensed to judge Gundogs
