Now I never thought I would
get so sucked in by a dog as I have been by Bosley. I used
to scoff at people who were at the beck and call of their
dogs and now I find that I am one of them! I have yet to
work out if it is him or I with the problem but I simply
don't feel I can go anywhere without him if I am going to be
away for more than a few hours. Friends have learnt that a
visit from me means a visit from Bosley and luckily he is a
delightful dog to have around. Children absolutely adore him
and adults also find him hard to resist. He is a very placid
and even-tempered, friendly dog. Hormones took over from
adolescent age, and while he maintained his amiable, laid
back nature he really did have just one thing on his mind!
This was starting to become embarrassing! Bosley, however,
has such a disarming nature that he rarely evokes an
aggressive reaction. He did grow out of the "young bull" age
eventually (probably about 3 yrs), and it became possible to
meet other dogs without having to hump them all! Despite the
fact that age under the belt has calmed him down Bosley has
been recently neutered as I have no intentions to breed him
and it's the surest way of avoiding "accidents". It
certainly will make life less stressful for him when a bitch
is in season and he finally has a consistent appetite! Gone
are the days of looking at something he relished yesterday
like it is poison today!
