December Grading
This grading was an extra special occasion being the last grading for the year where we award the Chikara Budo end of year recognition awards and with Dominic Watzdorf grading to Nidan (2nd Dan) and Damien Ellis grading to Sandan (3rd Dan). Both of these dan gradings have international accreditation by the International Budo Federation which was represented by the follow IBF members.- Kym Reid 6th Dan Jinen Karate Jitsu and SA President IBF Australia

The grading was held at the West Beach dojo in the new multi purpose activities hall, West Beach primary school. Congratulations to all students who earned their next grade and to the students who recieved end of year recognition awards.
Leah Johnston was presented with the Encouragement medal for her consistant effort all year.
Sarah Watzdorf was presented with the Most Improved trophy for the year.
Dominic Watzdorf was presented with the Karate Spirit trophy for the year.
