Chikara Budo
membership and training costs
To become a member of Chikara Budo please come along to training and try a free class. If you like what you see then join up by paying the annual membership. The club runs on a not for profit cost recovery basis. Overheads are contained to insurance, hall hire and equipment costs as instructors volunteer their time to provide teaching. All costs are detailed below.
You can save the time and hassle of bringing the correct change to training by paying online using the secure PayPal service. Just use the "make a donation" button and type the details of the type of payment you are making in the "this payment is for" textbox.
- Annual membership:
$20 for juniors, $25 for adults or $30 for families
- this fee is used to cover insurance
- Class fees:
$5 for individuals, $9 for two immediate family members
over 3 immediate family members $4 each up to a maximum of $20 per family
- these fees are used to cover hall hire and equipment - Grading fees:
$20 per person
- this fee includes the belt and certificate - Club badges / uniforms and equipment:
$7 per badge / as per cost from supplier
