The following entries were extracted from federal electoral rolls for South Australia, as maintained and published by the Australian Electoral Commission. Note the apparent duplication of some entries. Federal rolls commenced in 1903, and registration is, and has long been, compulsory. In 1973 the voting age (and hence first registration) was reduced from 21 to 18 years.

Before 1990 federal electoral rolls were published in a separate alphabetic sequence for each of the many electoral sub-districts. This makes searching for individuals difficult, unless the address is already known!
