G'day, I'm Jack R Herman. I live in Sydney, Australia.
You'll see from my site that my interests include history (that's what my university degree was in), psephology, sport and the movies.
For many years I have been involved in science fiction fandom (although I now read more history and crime and certainly more fantasy than Sf) and that gave rise to much of my publishing, including fanzines such as the ones I still contribute to ANZAPA.
Elsewhere you can find my Charles Foster Kane-like declaration of intent and some biographical information.
In addition to some monologs and rants on matters of import at the time, including some travelogs on our recent trips here and overeas, the main sections on the site are those on movies and history. I have also included copies of the magazines I have published in ANZAPA in recent times.
