Inserting An Image

Now you've got your page set up you will probably want to add some animated gifs to make the page look attractive. Don't forget to put these in your "Seniors" folder before you start.

1.   Position the cursor where you want to put the image, click "insert", then "image" ( or , alternatively , click the picture icon on the taskbar) This box will appear.

Check the "from file" box and then click "browse". Find the image you want to insert from your "Seniors" folder and then highlight it and click "open". The image will appear on your webpage. If it looks good, save it.

Inserting A Sound

You may like to provide some music on one, or more, of your webpages. This is better if it doesn't distract the visitor from viewing your webpage so shouldn't be too loud.
Choose "insert" and  "background sound" and the same window , as above, will appear. Browse to your "Senior" folder, highlight the midi file which you have put there, and click "open". and it will be entered in you page HTML ( the language that is used to build webpages), although you won't see anything. When visitors arrive at your webpage they will, automatically, hear the music you have put there. Save your work.

Counters And Guest Books

There are heaps of free counters and guestbooks, which will appear if you type either into any search engine. I recommend the following, which have the installation instructions on their respective sites.
