TAFE Saga Continues

Well, I finally got recognition for the writing subjects I did in Bendigo, although it cost me $20 for each one.
I'm gradually getting through my homework - taking time off work to study - and I managed to score a distinction for Desktop Publishing.
This semester I'm studying Articles 2 and Poetry - not that I'm a poet, I just need an escape from writing articles.

Anyone for a Witch-Burning?

I have just the person in mind. Brigitte wanted to reproduce her catalogue, but instead of saying so and asking for what she needed, she pretended that she needed it for tax purposes. A high-ranking accountant told us otherwise.
Then she threatened legal action if she didn't get what she wanted, but not directly - too cowardly for that. She hid behind her lacky and had that spiteful woman do all her dirty work for her.
Kristie checked our options and we both tried to contact Brigitte to sort things out reasonably, searching for honesty.
No such luck.
We were harassed by Brigitte's harpy to the extent that we ended up sending her what she wanted just to get rid of her. All we wanted months ago was to end our relationship with Brigitte and her nasty world. She haunted us instead.
I regret ever calling her a friend - she definitely proved herself otherwise.

Boy it's cold over here at the moment. The heater gets turned on around four o'clock every afternoon and the cats come inside of their own free will and thaw. Oh yes, my life is so enthralling. In an effort to relieve my boredom I took to baking, much to Jason's delight. I've stopped for a bit though 'coz I reckon we put on weight eating too much yummy carrot cake.
The Brigitte Epic kept me on my toes for a while. I spent a great deal of time on the phone to lawyers, desktop publishers and anyone else I thought might be able to help me. I never want that much stress again. There was no way for me to relieve the tension I couldn't even go and spit in the shop and walk away. That would've felt so good.
Matthew enjoyed his visit to the vet. Late one Sunday night he was weird. He was sick and had bunny rum and was floppier than usual and weird. So I took a taxi up to the vet's and $92 later he was none the worse for wear. I think he liked the antibiotics he was on because he sniffed them out from in the letter tray and wanted to eat them when he was no longer sick.

School holidays have finished and I am really happy to be back at school again.
I recently applied for a job at a shop called Talk to the Animals. After I sent my application off I decided I wasn't happy with it and never expected a reply, but I actually landed an interview.
Callooh Callah!

The Rest of
the Good News

Kristie is currently studying the road rules book in preparation of getting her license later this year. She hopes to have her 'P's by November.
We intend to be back in Victoria again in November for a wedding - Thayne and Melissa are getting married!
Of course, that makes us feel as if life is passing us by. With Thayne getting married, and Bec being pregnant (she's getting lovely and round now) we do wonder.
We squeezed into the chocolate expo a few weeks ago - and only bought wild-food plants.
And we travelled out to Murray Bridge last week to buy some emu leather. I need the scaly leg leather for the Dragon book I'm making (slowly). The girl at the emu farm though my dragon cover looked great and wants me to make a journal for her poetry.
The other books are selling well in town. They paid for our food last week during another fiscal drought.
Other news is that we're already looking for another house. Our year here is almost up and our landlord is giving us no guarantees - oh well, boxes again.

Secret agent Bluff is on holiday after his deep space adventure. Here he is practising a new
ice fishing technique.
