Welcome to the Gekko Reading Room Patience, after this appears all the stories will load FAST

A library of Speculative Fiction, Mystery, Sci-Fi and Horror (+ more). Open for submissions!
Stories preferably less than 3000 words.  Last updated 1 August, 2006

I'm glad you found your way here - to return again quickly use http://listen.to/jase. My stories that appear here have been published in various small Australian magazines, and one or two stories have even won competitions.

I would also like to include stories from people such as yourself, and might be able to offer some advice if you're stuck. The Gekko Library contains primarily Australian content, but writers from other countries are encouraged.

To submit a story for inclusion, email me a copy of your story (preferably less than 3000 words) and include:

  1. your name and year the story was written (your copyright)
  2. your email address (be sure to say whether you want it included here or not)
  3. your URL (so people can link to your webpage if they like your style)
  4. a little background information about yourself (interests, city/country you're from etc.) and maybe some backround for the story (eg. this story was inspired by...)
