Centralian Rough Knob-tailed Geckos

(Nephrurus amyae)

This is the largest species of knob-tail and one of the largest geckos in Australia. It also happens to have the smallest tail (relative to body size) of any gecko in Australia. Juveniles have rapid growth rates and can reproduce at 12 months of age.
