Suffering from corrupt or incomplete downloads? Well, MD5Mate won't fix your problem, but it will make identification of corrupt or incomplete downloads much easier.

By using MD5Mate, you can obtain the MD5 digest (a 128-bit "fingerprint" represented as 32 hexadecimal digits) of a file and compare it to the MD5 digest of another file. If the digests are different, then the files are not the same. With downloaded files, a difference is a good indication of corruption or incompleteness.

You can also use MD5Mate to provide MD5 digests for files that you upload, so that others who download can use MD5Mate to compare their download to your source. MD5Mate reads and writes .md5 files.
