I was born in 1952, the fourth daughter in a relatively poor family.
Living in a house-hold of five women, my father often took advantage of his deafness!
-
I married Jeff
Noble in 1974 and our family
consists of two children, their
partners and two grandchildren.
-
In 1993 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and as a result had a mastectomy, six months of chemotherapy and then five weeks of daily radiotherapy. Subsequently, due to the damage done to my lymphatic system through surgery and radiation-treatment, I developed Lymphoedema in the right arm. I like to share with other women my experiences during this period of my life, and what it is like living as a Cancer survivor.
-
I have a passion for Australian Rules Football and I also enjoy watching a good game of tennis. But then, I love watching just about any sporting event. I am delirious when the Olympics are on television.
-
I hate house-keeping, like eating out, love Winter, cherish my friends, prefer to eat chicken rather than red meat, prefer to surf the Net rather than do the ironing, believe in God and am a glass half-full person. When I am feeling ‘blue’, I like to shop for cheap earrings.
