UK Hanlons

The UK Hanlons came out to Australia for about 5 weeks after Christmas. What a shame they live so far away! It was great to see the kids - so big now (!) and to listen to their posh accents. Try this in a pommie accent and you may get the idea: 'Cousin Maarnie, could you please pass the tomaato sauce??' Cool! And of course Phil & Janey Waney... we'll miss them until next time...

Bernard lent us his kayaks... Robbie giving it his best

Phil & Livi

Robbie, and Jane trying to get an aussie tan under the overcast sky (damn clouds)

Phil, Robbie & Livi

Me & Livi

Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth

Livi's impersonation of a limp frog

Sibling love on the Corso (the next frame would have shown Livi wrestling Robert most indelicately to the ground)

Uncle John getting ready to show the poms how it's done

Phil proving that his middle-age spread is in no doubt MUCH smaller than someone else's who shall remain nameless

Adorable pomy kids

A wee spo' o cricket then?
The UK Hanlons manage to get in on the action of a game of street cricket (as you do)

Dad takes the more sensible stance of official spectator, already knowing in his heart that Australians are better at cricket than poms

Livi acting all coy, but beware, she bites if you mess with her cricket game...

A lovely pic of nana and her 3 offspring in the rare state of being in the same country and city at the same time
