The Tailem Bend Brigade runs a cadet program for youths aged 11 - 16.
Information on Cadet Training is available on local noticeboards.
They learn basics of firefighting as well as participating in other activities such as camps and the Premiers Active 8 Youth Challenge which is held at Woodhouse.
Our cadet coordinator is Firefighter Karyn Chaplin.
