Inspiring Members

Belmont 16's Photography Club is home to many well qualified and recognised photographers. Included in our membership is a number of experienced photographers who have been practising their craft for most of their lives.

These pages are about recognising the knowledge and skills of these photographers and capturing their ideas about the craft.

I wanted to talk to these photographers about their views on photography, what engages them and have the opportunity to talk about images they consider special or particularly like. I have learned a lot from these photographers. Surprisingly, each person is different; they have different philosophies, approaches and varying tips for newer photographers.

I have begun with members who were in the club before I came and who are still active competitors. I hope to talk to lots of our members who have their own style or who are grappling with their own philosophy towards their work. These pages are to let us all share the love of photography.
