NCT Week 6

The Lecture
Today's lecture was given by the 'guest' lecturer Debra Beattie. In this lecture, i learnt about a new form of documentry that is done on the internet. The docco was about debra's life as a child and her memories and thinks like that, and it was done using '360 degree' photo's and voice over. This brings a whole new way of transfering information. It was said that this type of documentry is more effective then a normal webpage of information because of the information present in small but interesting chunks that the view can view at their own will.

Why do do all phone numbers in Hollywood films start with "555"? http://www.aj.com
555 was used as a prefix, as when naming the telephone exchanges in the US, no exchange was allocated the 555 prefix. So to prevent actors etc, being rung up and harassed, movie makers were encouraged to use the 555 prefix. It is also coincidence that many phone numbers on the gold coast, also use the 555 prefix.
