NCT Week 9

The Lecture
In this week's lecture a discussion about Cyber Democracy was had. In the discussion ideas of democracy not being a real democracy, and media controlled democracies were brought up. Gaps in the mass media were also talked about, where there is a very biased media view, which puts forward an idea into citizens heads, and try’s to influence their decisions. Hacker’s and hacking we’re spoken about again. But all together, this lecture was so boring I never really payed any attention what so ever…

The Tutorial
PowerPoint is just about the easiest of the easiest Microsoft program to use. Not only is it simple, it doesn’t have all that many features for you not to know how to use. In doing the exercise I encountered no problems, and found the task really easy. All in, it took me about 10 minutes to complete the task, which is nothing really. However, one thing I did learn from the exercise thou, is that Microsoft PowerPoint is not a word processing program and as such, should not be used to write essays or other written assignments!
