Mankind has for eons looked for guidence from above and around them. The human races' spiritual path began with the exploration of the natural world surrounding them. Things that we today know are caused by the physics that make up our world were revered and worshipped. From there we bagan to question the eternal questions of Why and How. In answer to both of these questions humanity decided that there must be entities above humanity who rule over their assigned elements. We now recognise many of these Gods and Goddesses as archetypes.
There are many different names for God. The term I use is 'the Divine'. I personally believe each God and Goddess is a facet of the diamond that is the Divine. That all Gods and Goddesses no matter what pantheon they are from are the same divine entity, just a different face.
This table shows some of the most well known of the major deities from 4 ancient races.
