The 'Panflute kite' is an interesting concept; it is not a Sled yet it conforms to the wind similar to a Sled with it's concave canopy. The cells or tubes work like a simple Parafoil but don't have the airfoil shape. The tubes or cells are tapered like a windsock. Due to a increase of wind velocity escaping from the tapered tubes or cells the kite has a side to side wobble that requires a drogue or ribbon tail.
With it's colourful tube canopy the kite is a real attention seeker.
