Kester was a magnificent dog and a tribute to the Jenkins’ skill as breeders and as dog people. He was from a small litter that had to be hand reared from birth and his great size and wonderful bone spoke of the dedication of Ruth and Leslie in his rearing. He was litter brother to Eaglescrag Viking who went to the Janssens in Sweden, where he was top dog for several years. A comment that I will always remember about Kester came from a visiting English breeder – “whoever let that dog out of England?” He was that good!’ IW Club of NSW '80 IW Club of Vic '80 IW Club of NSW '81 IW Club of Vic '81 IW Club of Vic '82 |
