Luke Korowa - Student from Papua New Guinea:
Pastor Neil Aitchison was letterboxing Gospel tracts near the church building just after Christmas in 2005, when Luke was walking past. Pastor Aitchison offered him a Gospel tract and a discussion commenced whereby Luke explained that he had travelled down from Papua New Guinea to enrol at a Bible College in Adelaide. He had no money, transportation or contact with a Bible college and was trusting God to provide all that he needed (....his "accommodation" in Adelaide was to sleep in the "cubby house" in the back yard of a friend's house). Pastor Aitchison realised that this was a HUGE effort on his part to study God's Word and so he was introduced to the Adelaide College of Ministries where he was accepted as a student. Luke has now travelled back to his village in Papua New Guinea where he is organising a student visa to return to Adelaide and start his Bible College studies. Luke will need financial assistance of around $10,000 per year [yet to be arranged].

Grampians Mountain Trips:
Trip One was made on 17-22 April, 2006, when we took a bus to the Grampians in Victoria. This trip went well and was very enjoyable. Ten people went on the trip (mostly young people) and we braved very wet, wild and windy conditions. We climbed three mountains - Mt. Angst, Mt William and Beronia Peak. All the other mountain walks were closed seeing as a recent bush fire had made all the tracks and trees dangerous (ie. unstable rocks and falling branches). Even the campsites were closed and we had to camp in a secluded carpark in the middle of the bush somewhere in the south of the ranges.
Trip Two was made on 16-18 June, 2006, when we climbed The Watchtower and looked at the McKenzie Falls. We also camped the night under the stars near McKenzie Falls because the recent bushfires had damaged most of the camping grounds and they were all still closed to the public.

"I am debtor both to the Greeks and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel......for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth""
