Break: beach break.
Length of ride: short.
Works Best: all winds and all tides.
Comment: "A left hand, shallow beach break breaking over sand/rock bottom - lots and lots of rocks. It's an excellent spot for body boarding. It's a really heavy, shallow sand break combined with a very fast moving wedge, which hits the wave at a 90-degree angle. Its heavy as! It's probably best ridden from the 3-8 foot range, on a north-easterly, and its sick when the banks are in the right position. On a good day, rides can go on for ages as the wedge reforms with the wave at Gas Chambers. You definitely need to be experienced to go out here, due to big rips, sharp rocks, sharks, locals and heavy dumpers. Not really for surfers but there is a few local chargers, who go out there on a regular basis. A top notch spot for experienced bodyboarders. When the sand is in, it is a smooth flat bottom, making getting slammed and held down (it is a heavy wave, and people charge) no problem. When the bounce back wave works you get a unique 2 wave ride with a wave going across the shore getting you onto the main wave. With a corner in a wave people really launch the lip (when it is working). Only for the most sorted surfers, but great for bodyboarders. You feel like you are playing in a pool, only 25 metres from the beach. It packs a heavy left-hand punch with its fast wedge. When the sand banks are perfect, you can get a perfect peeling deep barrel right along the beach (10 to 20 meters) and then get spat out the end totally stoked. Strange beach though, the sand can be up high covering all the rocks, but the next day there can be no sand at all, leaving deadly spikes to get thrown down on - try and enjoy that.....not!"

How do we travel?....We have both a 19-seater Coaster bus (for state-wide trips) and a Mitsubishi Fuso Coach (for nation-wide trips) each fitted out with TV and DVD player, awesome sound system ('tis loud!) and we tow a trailer with waterproof, locable canopy and surfboard racks. We are currently purchasing more wetsuits and 35 surfboards so that we have everything we need to have a good day's surfing (....of course, God provides the waves to surf on). For smaller groups, we use our 4x4 Pathfinder to save on fuel (it also provides transportation for all the surf shop requirements). We are currently purchasing a beach buggy to get out onto the beaches and to use for promotional purposes - it will also tow a jet ski. You can bring your own surfboard on our trips if you are already a surfer.
How to contact us?....Either phone Luke on 0403134478 or Pastor Neil Aitchison on 0410725792, or you can email us if you want more information about this ministry.
