Lecture Being Held At Adelaide University

In April, 2014, Sanctuary Christian Ministries hosted a lecture held at the Napier Building (Room LG28) at the Adelaide University, North Terrace, Adelaide, South Australia. The lecturer was Associate Professor John Hartnett explaining how the scientific evidence doesn't "prove" evolution but only provides evidence of what exists in the present (not in the past). To use this evidence to support evolution is only an interpretation of the evidence and the interpretation can be wrong [read more at creation.com]. More lectures are being planned at the Adelaide Uni because over 50 students turned up.

Dear Dr. John Hartnett, Thank you so much for the the talk you gave today at Adelaide Uni. I found out about the talk yesterday after seeing one of the posters around campus. I was able to invite some of my friends along and it really set off some great discussions amongst us about creation and evolution. They all found it very interesting - for some of them had never really heard of scientists who actually oppose evolution and the Big Bang etc. I am in a first year engineering course but I do have a strong interest in all things related to science and faith for I don't believe in checking your brain at the door when going to church. You asked near the end if we would be interested in having more lectures of that nature and my answer is Yes please! I would love to hear you talk directly about the science involved supporting a young earth because some of my friends who came really wanted to know more about some of the topics that you briefly touched on. Again thank you for taking the time to reach out to uni students!
God Bless,
