You are reminded about Sailing Instruction 22.2
“Competitors remain
solely responsible for the seaworthiness of a boat whose entry is accepted and
the sufficiency or adequacy of its equipment.
Competitors
shall accept that their participation in the Event is at their exclusive risk
in every respect.”
I have been advised that a D.P.T.I.
vessel may be present on the course conducting vessel checks for safety
equipment.
As you may be sailing in semi-protected
and unprotected waters you need to carry the appropriate safety equipment for
that area.
