The Novavoce approach
for the crossover is the same as its enclosure design (simple
is best). This consistent design approach made the crossover
have minimum parts therefore reducing coloration.
All drivers and crossover components are tested and graded
with every crossover inductor hand wound and vacuum impregnated.
The crossover topology has been optimised to ensure no magnetic
coupling while the inductor wires are over size to reduce
heat build up and lower loss resulting in more accurate energy
transfer.
Novavoce specifies all
of the component lead lengths, consequently no printed circut
boards are required, facilitating point to point wiring of
the crossover, this method reduces the solder joints and increases
power rating.
