Things To Do
There are many interesting and active pastimes to partake during your visit here, an abundance of activities right at you doorstep.
A walking track around the lake with swimming, fishing and boating at the end of your yard.
At the end of our garden there is a lovely walk around the shoes of the lake to Palm Beach. Just up the road is a great park for the children.
Starting from the shops at Sanctuary Point there is a cycleway that goes all the way to Huskisson. If you don’t like riding up the hill at Old Ewrol Bay we suggest you begin the ride at Vincentia, where the bike track goes along the shores of Jervis Bay.
The track veers down to the beach just north of the round about near Vincentia shops. By the way when you get to the first caravan park we usually buy an ice cream. At the second caravan park the track ends – just walk up the hill through the park and this will bring you out at White Sands Park, which is adjacent to Huskisson Pub(great counter meals- Husky R.S.L. is good also).
Then there is the Country Club just up the road at Sanctuary Point. This caters for golf, bowls, squash and tennis enthusiasts.
Water Sports
There are whale and dolphin cruises on nearby Jervis Bay or you can hire a kayak or go snorkling or scuba diving and explore the pristine waters of Jervis Bay Marine Park.
Just out the front, you can swim, sail, fish, windsurf or prawn.
Restaurants and Places to See
For those of you who just want to relax, well just put your feet up and watch the sun go down.
You have a choice of restaurants including Stonegrill Vincentia, Thai, Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Italian and many more. A handy one is The Sanctuary, which is opposite the Club. Le Grand Bleu is at St. Georges Basin and the Seagrass is at Huskisson.
On that rainy day you might like to enjoy a movie in our country theatre at Huskisson or visit the Lady Denman Museum. There is also the Air Museum at Albatross (Nowra).
