About The Mannum Bowling Club
The Mannum Bowling Club first opened At Esmerelda in 1950 and moved to its present site of Shearer’s Sports Park in 1952.
We had to temporarily close during the big flood of 1956 “see photo in club house” but today we have magnificent synthetic greens and play bowls all the year round.
Social bowls are played right through the winter months, every Thursday and Saturday, names in by 12.30 pm for a 1.00 start “casual clothes with flat sole shoes".Winter Bowls to start Thursday 2nd May 2013

Our membership is 96 bowlers. The men have three pennant teams Saturday and two Wednesday. The ladies have two pennant teams. Both the Men and Women are affiliated with the Lower Murray Bowling Association.
2011/12 year the ladies Div 1 won LMWBA pennants and the men's div 1 won LMBA pennants (what a year)
We welcome visitors from all over the world through active involvement with Tourism S.A.
CLUB STRUCTURE
The club is run by three committees:
The Women's Facility Committee organizes everything to do
with the actual playing of women's bowls and also the catering.
The Men's Facility Committee organizes everything to do with the actual playing of Men's bowls.
The Administrative Board
The board consists of 12 members, and oversees everything not covered by the Facility
Committees, such as Club Finances, payment of workers, running of the Bar, maintenance of synthetic
greens and clubrooms. etc.
