Welcome to my Home Theatre!

This room was originally built to be a photographic studio. I had great plans for this room even before I bought the house from my parents. This is my passion, a work in progress. Always changing, never finished!

I love movies and this is the best way to appreciate them. It looks elaborate but I didn't get a custom installer to put it together. I did everything from running cables, cutting a BIG hole in the back wall right up to painting the yellow stars on the walls. Although I must admit that Dad handles a paint brush much better than I, so the dark grey paint job is thanks to him!

There has even been a movie star in this room. During the 1981 filming of the Australian Film 'Gallipoli' which had some scenes shot locally, several of the cast had promotional photographs taken in what was then my Dad's photo studio.
Aussies out there might know the names Bill Hunter and Mark Lee, but everyone should know Mel Gibson. I wasn't around to see Mel, I was at school and besides, who was to know where Mel's career would take him!!
