Update 6th September 2006: The problem with some phones not running the games has finally been fixed. It was due to extra line break characters in the Java Application Descriptor files (JADs).

It took me hours to find all the games for my phone. I hated the fact that there isn't just one massive phone games site that offers tons of free phone games to any who would look for them. So I decided I would be the one to make that page!

Here is the most extensive range of mobile phone java games I've ever seen (apart from midlet.org, but that site doesn't have most of the really good ones, and most of them are crap, anyway). You'll notice that the list isn't really that big. It's because while other sites may post any and all of the games they receive, I only post the ones that work. I test them with the J2ME, the authority on valid J2ME software. They all work on the J2ME so if any don't work for you, it's your phone, not the software.

I have an NEC e616V phone. To get them on that phone, you have to visit this page with the phone and open the JAD links because there's no way to put them on there with the supplied cable and software (which, by the way NEC, is completely GAY).

If your phone doesn't have a colour screen, try midlet.org. It's got plenty of old MIDlets for your phone.

Anyway, here is a reasonably large selection of Java MIDlet games. If you want to transfer them from your PC to your phone, download both the JAD and the JAR. If you are browsing from your phone's browser, open the JAD link.

These games are all free and legal. I found them by rummaging the 'net. Some of them have [1337h1umZ pick (x)] next to them. That means it's one of my favourites and you should get that game! The number indicates the rating among favourites; 1 being the best.
