Jimmy Jupiter

Age: 10 Point of Origin: New Aeden Powers: Superstrength, Invulnerability, Energy Gloves Threat Level: 9 Jimmy Jupiter is a powerful mutant whose body and metabolism appear to be powered by nuclear rather than chemical processes. He quickly came to the attention of Professor Zandor and the Victory Vanguard, the superhuman protectors of his home planet. Zandor gave Jimmy the legendary Gamaa Gauntlets, a mysterious memento from the teams crime fighting past, in an attempt to contain Jimmy's power. Jimmy's abilities primarily revolve around punching. He is far stronger and faster than a normal boy of his age, and able to withstand almost any physical attack unharmed. His powers fluctuate wildly from moment to moment, allowing the occasional hit to penetrate his invulnerability, or the occasional punch to fall short of earth-shattering. With training, Jimmy is able to use the Gamma Gauntlet's energy to perform other feats, such as increasing his allies' energy levels, digging through solid stone or firing off a short range energy blast. Jimmy is both the heaviest hitter and the least reliable member of the Strangers, sometimes even turning on his teammates in the heat of battle. Despite being able to survive in space unaided, Jimmy breathes out of habit and is particular vulnerable to poison and gas attacks. Jimmy appears to have survived the transition to our world with little or no trauma. Being a healthy active boy, he found the peace of New Aeden somewhat boring, and relishes his new role as a proper superhero who gets to hit people on a daily basis. King Zero has taken Jimmy under his wing in an attempt to curb his energy and boundless enthusiasm.
