*VMA* Heritage

The Vigilante Masters Association was formed by Stormbringer. est June '98. One of the first online NH teams dedicated to Interstate '76 when it was first released. *VMA* and [GUN] were both formed back in '98 and have cruised side by side since then. We are one of the first gangs/teams formed for the Interstate series and we hope to be one of the last if that day ever comes.

The original concept was to create an elite team of players with good attitudes. The standards now are still as high as they once were when Stormbringer founded the team. Since then many things have changed, Stormbringer leaving *VMA* to join [GUN] and many team members moving on.

When Interstate '76 Nitro was released, naturally the *VMA* tradition continued. Today, along with the latest Interstate '82, divisions have been formed and we currenlty have members active on both I76 & I82

Our members are a very close group of players. Despite the divisions, we all know and respect each other. To become a *VMA* is no small event, we recurit very few on very limited occasions. If you would like to become a part of an Interstate chapter which has been running since '98, we recommend you get to know us on the roads of '76 and/or '82.

Tryouts are offered to players interested in joining and only if a majority vote agrees on the tryout, should it be offered.

Since the departure of Stormbringer, things have changed slightly. We now use a team leadership system where everyone has a say. We still remain a strictly NH team but not SS. SS is our best guideline of skill and there are not many skilled vigs out there on '82 not using a SS setup. If a player has the right attitude and the skill, SS has no relevence when it comes to the tryout offer.

Breif intro to some *VMA* Members...

Now that you know our rules, we'll introduce some of our current members to you:

  • SHAMUS *VMA*

Shamus is one of our senior *VMA* members. Great team player & very able CTT fisherman on I82, an accomplished map maker, Shamus has a rep of being a vig with a great attitude and killer skills both technical and in combat. During a dry spell of I82, Shamus took charge of the I82 division and really got the team up to scratch. *VMA*'s I82 presence would not be possible without Shamus.

  • Creed *VMA*

Creed is a dedicated '76er with a respected name within the '76 community. Refusing to step foot into the technology era of '82, his '76 combat skills are razor sharp. Before the team leadership changes, Creed was the leader of the *VMA* whom had a say on everything that's *VMA* related and nothing went on without his approval.

  • Maniac *VMA*

Maniac is a skilled vig whom doesn't mind being on the wrong side of the tracks. An old hand from '76, active on both '76 and '82. Enduring the test of time and still active to this day. Keep ya eye out for his Red Lightning on I76 and his Saab logoed Pam Am on I82

  • Jeppy *VMA*

Jeppy is well known for his great maps and precision fishing (CTT) skills. A player many consider to be one of the best CTT players around is also my personal mentore as he is very polite and professional in all respects. Jeppy and I used to be teammates in the [VB] Vigilante Brotherhood and it's great to have him onboard at the *VMA*

  • Wing Nut *VMA*

What can you say about this guy? Has a few screws loose and not afraid to show it! One of the nicest players you will probably meet. Skilled SS I76/Nitro veteran whom pops into I82 occasionally. Had breif period of being a *VMA* member before resigning to form *OOA* Octane Outlaws Association. Did not work out however, now back and kicking at the *VMA*

  • LazyBoy *VMA*

Not much to say here... Dedicated to '82. All-rounder with a preference towards Deathmatch/KFs and CTT. Catch you on the roads.
