These are images I have created using Maxon Cinema4D and Photoshop. They are visualisations for a project I have been working on in my spare time for some years. This project is a virtual Universe known as Arnagest, and the aim of the project is to recreate the entire Universe, from all galaxies down to individual objects and locations on the surfaces of planets. The user will be able to navigate anywhere in the universe with no restrictions or "edge of the map" limits. Arnagest is based around a storyline in which two ancient races, the winged humanoid Aimanhyarin and the lizard-like Khhyklonakh (pronounced SCHLIK-low-NACH German style) have been at war for aeons. The Aimanhyarin use nothing we would recognise as technology; they are all gifted with psionic powers which they use in everyday life even as we use machines and tools. The Khhylonakh have a very highly advanced technology that pushes the envelope of quantum physics. The Arnagest Project will receive its own page once the rest of the site is fully operational. For now, take a look through these visualisations and imagine a universe unlike anything we have ever encountered.
